Sir Elton John, CBE (nacido como Reginald Kenneth Dwight; Pinner, Middlesex, Inglaterra, 25 de marzo de 1947) es un cantante, compositor y pianista británico de rock, glam rock y piano rock.
Es uno de los músicos con mayores ventas de todos los tiempos. En el año 2010 la revista Rolling Stone le otorgó el puesto 38 en su lista de los 100 mejores cantantes de la historia y el puesto 49 en su lista de 100 mejores artistas de la historia.
