Johnny "Guitar" Watson (3 de febrero de 1935 - 17 de mayo de 1996) fue un guitarrista y cantante de blues norteamericano. Además, incursionó en los estilos de soul, rhythm & blues, funk, rock y hip-hop.
Un showman extravagante y guitarrista eléctrico en el estilo de T-Bone Walker, Watson tuvo durante los años ´50 y ´60 un cierto éxito. Su reinvención creativa en la década de 1970 con música disco y matices funk, se convirtió en éxitos con "Is not That a Bitch", "I Need It" y "Superman Lover". Su carrera discográfica de éxitos se extendió durante cuarenta años, resaltando su gran hit de 1977 "A Real Mother For Ya".
